PUZZLE PAGE

Tired of those winter blues? Need something to while away those long hours at work? Looking for a challenge? This is the page for John Thaw fans everywhere to have a little fun and test themselves mentally. To launch this new feature, we have two word-cross puzzles. every answer is something from John's life or career. Simply print this page out and work at them at your leisure. While I tried not to make it too hard, if you should get stuck, feel free to e-mail me for an answer! As Inspector Morse's favorite pastime, see if you are up to the challenge!

We also have three on-line jigsaw puzzles that you can play on your computer in three different levels of difficulty: Easy (16 pieces); Medium (20 pieces), or Hard (32 pieces), though for those with a LOT of time on their hands, I can provide some up to 100 pieces! Simply put your mouse on the pieces and slide them around until they fall into place; you even have a clock to time yourself and see if you can do better next time. If you like this feature, please let me know, and I'll change the selection every few months for variety. Enjoy, and good luck!

For those out there who like experimenting with anagrams, these are the most popular making the rounds:
Rearranging the letters of 'Inspector Morse' gives: I'm coroner's pest.
Rearranging the letters of 'Inspector Endeavour Morse' gives: So, report: Name is uncovered.
Rearranging the letters of 'Chief Inspector Endeavour Morse' gives: Forever on a super homicide scent.
Can you think of any others? They don't have to be limited to Inspector Morse, of course, but can be on any other character or title from any other movie of television show John was in. Send them in and we'll publish them in your name to share with other fans around the world.
